Strutt & Parker further strengthens National Country House Department with the appointment of Jordan Sturgess

Q1 2025

Strutt & Parker is pleased to announce the appointment of Jordan Sturgess as a Senior Associate Director in the firm’s National Country House Department.

In this new role, Jordan will work alongside the wider team, which spans the UK from Scotland to the South West, and will build on the property consultancy’s already established presence in Surrey - with a particular focus on the Ascot to Epsom corridor bordering Greater London.

Working closely with Strutt & Parker’s regional office teams, including those in Guildford, Windsor, Ascot, and Farnham, Jordan’s appointment is a strategic move as he joins ahead of the busy spring period. In March, the National Country House Department has seen a 25% jump in the number of buyers registering year-on-year, whilst offers received by Strutt & Parker’s Surrey & Hampshire offices has outperformed 2024 by 35% in the year-to-date.

Jordan joins Strutt & Parker from Curchods’ Prime team, where he managed multiple offices across the southern region. With over a decade of experience in Surrey property, he has led teams across both sales and lettings, opened new offices, and specialised in the prime market.

“We are delighted to welcome Jordan to the team,” says Oliver Custance Baker, Head of Strutt & Parker’s National Country House Department. “With an intricate knowledge of Surrey’s property market and an established network to his name, Jordan’s a fantastic addition to our department. We are committed to expanding the team to build on our strong presence and maintain the high level of service for our clients that we are known for.”

On his appointment, Jordan says, “I’m excited to be joining such a well-established and respected team at Strutt & Parker. The firm’s reputation in the country house market is exceptional, and I look forward to working closely with colleagues across the regional teams to support our clients during what is shaping up to be a busy year.”
