Nick advises clients across Yorkshire and the North East on all matters of rural land agency and surveying. He has developed his experience in areas including valuations, property management, landlord and tenant matters and residential lettings as well as other areas of professional work and has become the ‘go to’ person in the region for advice on renewables and development. As such, Nick now advises on renewables schemes across the UK including Northumberland, Durham, Yorkshire, Lancashire, Cumbria, Derbyshire, Hertfordshire, Kent and Wales.
Nick joined us as a graduate in 2008 and is now Regional Head of the rural business line in the North East and East Midlands.
Education and Qualifications
Nick became a qualified chartered surveyor in 2010 following two years structured training with us and graduating from the University of Reading in 2008 with a degree in Land Management. In 2012 Nick became a qualified agricultural valuer becoming a fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers and in 2014 Nick passed his exams and became a member of The Association of Residential Letting Agents.
Personal Life
Born and raised in Yorkshire, Nick moved south in 2005, firstly to the Reading and then to Canterbury where he dealt with both private and institutional clients. In 2015 Nick returned to his home county by joining the Harrogate office where he continues to further his career. He leads an active life with a young family and a keen interest in travel, sport and the great outdoors.
