Cirencester, with its excellent selection of shops, restaurants and supermarkets (including Waitrose, Tesco, Lidl and Aldi), is approximately 4 miles away and other local centres include Fairford, Lechlade and Burford. The main regional centres are Cheltenham, Oxford and Swindon, all of which are within daily commuting distance. Junction 16 of the M4 is approximately 12 miles away and direct rail services to London Paddington are from Kemble or Swindon stations, the latter scheduled to take from approximately 55 minutes.

Directions

Leave Cirencester on the A419 south towards Swindon, turning off at the Spine Road junction onto the B4696. After approximately half a mile, turn right (signposted South Cerney) onto Station Road. Continue along Station Road and into the village, turning right at the medieval Wayside Cross onto Clarks Way. Take the second turning on your left into School Lane and The Forge will be found on your left-hand side, just before reaching the Village Hall (which is on the right-hand side).
