The woodlands have a formal subcompartment structure and many of the compartments contain a mix of species. All of the conifer and most of the broadleaf trees can be considered as productive crops. The main species include Corsican and Scots pine, Douglas fir, Japanese larch and various mixed broadleaves and conifer stands.
The woodlands are attractive and easily accessible which makes them popular with walkers who use the well-established tracks and paths and enjoy the wonderful mix of flora and fauna that are found there, particularly in the western section. Part of the North Downs Way passes through the woodlands on the southern boundary. The eastern section of the woodlands is more densely afforested and has fewer visitors, offering more privacy.
The woodlands also offer the opportunity for shooting and stalking.
This property has 732 acres of land.
