A hallway leads to a separate sitting room which provides a quiet refuge, and an elegant drawing room with an exposed brick fireplace and inset wood-burning stove, and a large bay window with built-in window seating. The spacious kitchen/breakfast room is an impressive light-filled space, with a beamed vaulted ceiling, flagstone floor with under-floor heating. Bi-folding glazed doors offer a direct link to a large York stone terrace, perfect for al fresco dining and entertaining. Fitted with Shaker-style cabinetry, and topped with hardwood surfaces, the kitchen is at the heart of the home. It boasts a range-style stove and an island unit which creates a subtle divide to the informal breakfast area. The ground floor also comprises a study and a cloakroom, along with the principal bedroom, which benefits from a dressing room and a well-appointed en suite bathroom. For wine aficionados, there is ideal storage space in the cellar wine store.
Two staircases rise to the first-floor accommodation which includes a spacious landing/seating area, four bedrooms and two bathrooms. A large loft/eaves room provides useful storage space.
