In terms of day-to-day living, a car is a necessity in this part of the country, but there are train services to other parts of England, as well as buses servicing the bigger population centres like Falmouth, Penzance, and Newquay.

Depending on where you choose to settle down in the county, there are a wide variety of school options too – from paid boarding establishments to highly regarded state schools and well-rated selective ones. There are also a huge number of outdoorsy pursuits to get involved in, for all ages.
