There are plenty of opportunities for other active pursuits nearby too, including watersports, bouldering, and trail biking.

Gerrards Cross is well-suited for families who want space, but without the disconnection that can sometimes accompany a country move. Houses are generally very large, complete with driveways adequate for more than one car, and gardens that make for great summer barbeque spots. The local school options are tremendous, with private, selective, and state schools saturating the district.
