What are your key areas of responsibility at Strutt & Parker?
I have a number of different key areas of responsibility working within the Land Management Department of Strutt and Parker. I am responsible for the assisted management of a number of different estates that involve areas of work including strategic estate management, landlord and tenant matters and forestry management as well as other areas of general day to day land management. As well as this I am responsible for assisting in helping to bring together professional valuations that involve conducting the initial property/ holding inspections and compiling the final report.
What do you love about the town/city you work in?
Situated within the heart of North Yorkshire is the traditional spa town of Harrogate that is scattered with historic buildings and stunning scenery. Living and working within Harrogate is a lovely place to be as the town gives plenty of work and social opportunities. The Harrogate office is in the perfect location for the rural surveyor as it is surrounded by the countryside, as a land agent working here you get to deal with a number of exciting farms, estates and properties making the job even more satisfying.
